Glimmers

For a long time, I thought real happiness comes from big achievements, but there are so many small things around us every day that could bring a moment of joy, such as the smell of rain or seeing a cute dog. Speaking to my therapist about it, I’ve learned that these are glimmers - everyday moments that make us feel safe and connected.

I’ve had the absolute pleasure of discussing this concept and sharing my experiences with others during the 12x6 exhibition organised by District and CBA in Milan. I felt an enormous joy in meeting so many kind people who relate to my experiences, and I encouraged everyone to be part of the project by writing down their own glimmers.

Special thanks to my therapist for helping me discover a bit of myself, District, CBA, everyone who was involved in putting together the exhibition and everyone present on the night of the exhibition.
